Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 22, 2025

Thank you for trusting us with your time and attention. This Privacy Policy is here to make one thing very clear:

We do not collect or store your personal data. Your privacy matters deeply to us — especially when you're using an app intended to support your spiritual life.

This policy explains, with full transparency, what limited data we use to make the app work — and how it stays entirely in your control.

1. What Information We Access (And Why)

Our Islamic app does not collect, store, or send any personal data from your device to our servers.

However, to deliver specific features (like prayer times and custom fonts), we need limited access to a few parts of your device — always with your permission and under your control.

Here’s a detailed breakdown:

a. Location Access (Only with Permission)

We request access to your location only when you choose to enable it, and here’s exactly how it’s used:

  • Purpose: To calculate accurate Islamic prayer times based on your current geographic position (latitude/longitude).
  • What happens: When you enable location, the app retrieves your coordinates just for that moment and uses them locally to determine prayer times.
  • No background tracking: We don’t collect or store your location over time.
  • No automatic uploads: Your coordinates are never sent to our servers.
Optional Geocoding:

If you want your city name to appear in the app, we use an open-source, public geocoding service like Nominatim. Here's what that means:

  • Only your raw coordinates (e.g., 31.5204, 74.3587) are sent to this third-party service to return a readable location like “Lahore, Pakistan”.
  • No personal data or device identifiers are sent along.
  • This process is standard, temporary, and used only for displaywe do not store the result or share it further.

b. Storage Access (Only for Custom Fonts)

The app allows you to personalize your experience by uploading a custom .ttf font file.

  • Purpose: To let you render Arabic or Urdu text in your preferred font.
  • Permission type: Read-only access to your selected file.
  • Storage handling: The file is processed and stored only on your device.
  • We do not upload, collect, analyze, or share your fonts or storage contents.
  • You can delete the font from within the app at any time.

2. We Do Not Collect or Store Any of the Following:

We do not collect, store, or access:

  • Personal details (name, email, phone, etc.)
  • Contacts or messages
  • Photos, videos, or media
  • Your app usage patterns
  • Your IP address or device identifiers
  • Any cloud-based data linked to you

In short: We don’t want your personal information — and we built this app to make sure we never get it.

3. Ads & Third-Party Services

Our app is free and supported by third-party ad networks such as:

  • AdMob (Google)
  • AppLovin

These networks may collect anonymous information to display personalized or contextual ads, such as:

  • Device type
  • App usage frequency
  • Non-identifiable behavior analytics

We do not control how these ad platforms process their data, but we ensure:

  • They are well-established companies with public privacy policies.
  • No personally identifiable information (PII) is shared by us with them.

You can learn more about their policies here:

4. How Data Is Stored and Processed

Everything the app does happens on your device:

  • All calculations (prayer times, settings) are processed locally.
  • Your uploaded fonts are saved locally.
  • Your preferences remain local to the device.
  • If you uninstall the app, all of your data is deleted automatically.

We do not use any backend servers. This means we can't — and won’t — access your data.

5. User Control and Transparency

You have complete control over what the app accesses. Here's how:

  • Location access is optional and can be turned off at any time.
  • Custom fonts can be uploaded or removed by you whenever you like.
  • App data can be cleared at any time via app settings or device settings.

We believe your device = your data.

6. Children’s Privacy

This app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided personal data by mistake, please contact us and we’ll assist immediately.

7. Future App Features and Privacy

As our app evolves, we may introduce new features or functionalities. Should any future feature require access to new types of data or necessitate a change in our data handling practices (even if still local), we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and notify you in-app if the changes are significant, as outlined in Section 7. Our commitment to user privacy and data minimization will remain a core principle in the development of any new features.
